Georgian Bay Series

I was raised in the Georgian Bay area of Lake Huron.  We originally owned cabins on Lake Manitouwabing, which is a large deep lake with numerous arms and bays which made for great exploring adventures while growing up. Lake Manitouwabing is embraced with all that beautiful Northern Ontario Canadian Shield and was responsible for that first spark igniting my passion for geology! Growing up I ventured more often onto Georgian Bay and eventually worked for the Canadian Coast Guard on the Great Lakes.   This is where I really developed and nurtured my love for the rugged rocky shoreline and the amazing flora and fauna of Ontario.
